Bowman Jeremy Lomas sailed the 1997-98 Whitbread with Grant Dalton and since then he has done three America’s Cup campaigns with New Zealand teams (2000, 2003 and 2007). He has also been a regular competitor on the international grand prix, match racing circuits and the Med Cup TP52 circuits. Jeremy took a leading organisational role, as well as sailing, in the team’s successful 2009 and 2010 MedCup campaign and was bowman for the Louis Vuitton Trophy regattas. With team mates Winston Macfarlane and Dean Barker, he raced in the last regatta for 2010 of the Extreme 40 catamaran circuit, the team’s first foray into top-level, multi-hull racing. Since he has been totally involved in the team’s multihull programme – Extreme 40s, ACWS regattas, the SL33 development cats and the AC72.
