As dalts would say.
cover cover cover!!!
Seems to be some discrepency with the “Tracker” data on the Volvo website. It’s got Camper at close to 200nm behind the leader, but it actually looks more like 60nm according to the ruler function, and they would be lying in 3rd rather than 5th place. Any ideas?
Hi Grant. We agree and have raised this issue with Volvo as well as highlighting it in today’s update http://etnzblog.com/#!2012/02/the-long-beat-to-sanya-gets-underway
Whew… Camper tactics have been a bit questionable at times, but I couldn’t see how they could have lost that much on the leaders when the top four seem so close most of the time (poor choices aside). I’ll keep my fingers crossed that they stay in one piece for the rest of this leg and minimise the gap to Telefonica. Really enjoying the online tracker and while I accept this race may not have the media interest that say the old Whitbread had, from my perspective, the tricky route provides a great test for the TNZ guys going forward and is fascinating to follow. Go TNZ and yes, as Dalts would say, cover, cover, cover….
